Our spiritual life with our animals

We all love our animals whether they are dogs, cats, horses, birds, or the many other options. But few of us fully realize just how spiritual many of these beings are. They do not have a chakra system exactly like a human being, but animals are definitely spiritually energetic. I think it is the spiritual connection in addition to their loving hearts that draws us to them.

I love animals, all animals. And of course, I love dogs. Dogs are very drawn to me wherever I go people’s dogs will come over to me. They put their head in my hands or they try to jump on my lap. The other day one jumped in my car and the lady that owned the dog had a hell of a time getting the dog out. The dog just did not want to leave. This is because not only do I love them, but I do not think of them as lesser than human. I think of dogs as different sentient beings than human. They know this and they sense this about me, and they respond to it.

I was in a tire store walking past the offices, and I heard a lady screaming at her puppy. She was also complaining to a coworker about how stupid the puppy was. I could not help myself. I turned and said to her “Perhaps if you talk to it like it was an adult sentient being, it will respond better to you”. That little puppy turned his head and looked at me, then trotted down the hall to where I was and sat at my feet. Then I knelt down and looked into his little brown eyes and said to him, “You have to try to be patient and be a good puppy.” Then I stood up and ask him to come with me, walked him back to his owner and asked the puppy to sit. Which he did, wagging his tail the whole time. The owner just glared at me.

I have very dear friend who walks her dogs every morning rain or shine. She was living in Bend, Oregon in a remote area walking her dogs when something happened. At the same time, she heard a noise her dog leapt into the air. A second later she realized it was a gunshot. Her dog had leapt in front of her and was shot protecting her. Luckily, she was able to her dog to the hospital and save the dog’s life. She has never had any doubt that her dog saved hers. A few years later she broke her leg, and I went to visit. I had a great time taking over the morning walks with her two dogs.

I have known for some time that dogs will take on various energetic and spiritual issues and process them for their owners. If people would realize this, it would help them to understand why their dogs sometimes act out in the way they do. It may be your anger, frustration, boredom, sadness that the dog is processing for you.

We had a corgi for many years. I remember setting and looking at it and suddenly I saw a little gold man, or pixie like being sort of folded up inside this corgi dog. This did not surprise me because our corgi which we named Pixie was an extremely, intelligent, loving dog. Before we got pixie. I went out to the breeders to check them out. The lady who owned them said she had a batch of corgis that were non show dogs. As we were looking at them pixie came and grabbed my shoelace and kept trying to drag me away from the other dogs. I remember I said to her, “you are so cute I hope when I come back with my daughter, she picks you”. When I went back with my daughter a few weeks later I let her go in by herself to pick her corgi, she came out with pixie. I know Pixie made sure of it.

I went out to a ranch to do a chakra reading for this woman in Sam’s Valley. When I got there, I parked my car and I noticed there was a horse in a fenced area in front of the house. I looked at the horse and I saw that it had an entity on its rear right leg about halfway down. I had the feeling that I could fix this even though I do not work on animals, and I am a bit frightened of horses. Then I looked up to the barn near the house and saw an Indian spirit looking back at me. He gestured with his hand to me then pointed to the horse then he disappeared. I went ahead and did my reading, and before I left, I asked the woman if her horse was having problems with his leg. Sure, enough she said there was a problem they could not solve right where I described it. I decided to be brave and told her what I saw. I told her if she wanted to give it a try I had a feeling we could fix this horse up pretty quickly. We went out there and put my hands where the entity was and breathed as much love and white light as I could into the area. The entity disappeared. The horse turned his head looked at me then completely turned around and put his head on my heart. I think that is the closest thing to a horse hug you can get.

With any of your animals try this simple exercise:

Take a deep breath and hold it for a few seconds. While you are holding your breath think of it containing all the love and gold and white light in your heart. Now blow that breath of love and light gently into your hands and place your hands very gently on your dog’s head. Or your horses, or cats. This will give back a tiny bit of the massive amount of love our animals give us.
